The paper makes an empirical analysis of and a Granger causality test on the relationship between the light industry＇ s standard, export and economic growth by using the data between 1987 and 2005, and by establishing a co-integration equation. The results show that standard, export and economic growth have an equilibrium relationship in the long-term; the implementation of domestic light industry standard will have a negative impact on the economic growth. And simultaneously, it interprets this issue and makes some policy suggestions.
