引入参考平面,将曲面网格生成问题降维为二维平面网格生成问题,实现了一种新的STL模型曲面网格生成算法。新算法采用特征保持的模型分解过程,放宽了子域的限制条件。基于局部性假设降低了将平面网格点反映射到曲面上算法的复杂度,保证了程序的高效率。改进了拉普拉斯光顺算法,提高了曲面网格质量。实验表明,该算法速度快,网格质量满足有限元分析需求。
By introducing a reference plane,and reducing the surface meshing problem into a planar one,a new surface mesh algorithm for STL models was presented.The new algorithm could loosen the co-planar constraint for sub-domains by detecting model features first and then preserving the features in sub-domain boundaries in the next model decomposition procedure.High efficiencies are achieved by the algorithm based on a local assumption for the anti-projection procedure of projecting mesh vertices in reference planes into surface models.The improved Laplacian smoothing algorithm enhances the mesh quality.Experiments show that the proposed algorithm runs fast,and the generated meshes are qualified for the requirements of finite element analysis.
