For multi-criteria decision making problems with intuitionistic linguistic information, the concept of intuitionistic binary linguistic numbers （IBLNs） and its operational laws, the expected value and the accuracy value are defined. Moreover, the intuitionistic binary linguistic sum（IBLS） operator and the intuitionistic binary linguistic weighted averaging （IBLWA） operator are proposed, and some properties of the IBLWA operator are discussed. Based on the IBLS and IBLWA opera- tors, a multi-criteria decision making known and the criteria values are intuiti the effectiveness of this method. approach is put forward, in which the criteria weights are onistic linguistic information. An example is given to illustratethe effectiveness of this method.
