将3阶非线性效应引入至基于电光效应控制的超短脉冲群速度理论模拟研究:当改变输入光强、操作温度、波矢失配、极化周期以及横向直流电场时,2阶和3阶非线性效应的共同作用对超短脉冲在掺镁铌酸锂晶体中传播群速度的影响要明显大于仅考虑2阶非线性效应的作用效果.3阶非线性的引入进一步完善了基于块状晶体电光效应的偏振耦合效应,实现“慢光”方案的理论指导意义.
Cubic nonlinearity has been included and introduced into the study on the group velocity control of ultrashort pulse based on the electro-optic effect. The simulation, as changing several influential impacts such as input intensity, operating temperature, wave vector mismatching, poling period, and transverse DC electric field, shows that the modulation effect on the group velocity of ultrashort pulse passing through in the MgO:PPLN by means of the combination of quadratic and cubic nonlinearity is greater than the one solely controlled by quadratic effect. The employment of cubic nonlinearity takes a further step to perfect the theoretical guiding significance of scheme for slow light realized in bulk crystal.
