Different from the general optical waveguides,the effective index of the ultrahigh order modes in the hollow-core metal cladding waveguide may exist the area of 0〈 N 〈1,which not only makes it possible to use the freespace coupling technique,but also greatlly enhance the power density,quality factor and sensitivity of the ultrahigh order modes. With these performance the application analysis of the environmental protection,food security,biomolecular interaction and enhancement of Raman and fluorescence spectrum are carried out.
