为了解决符形类修边镶块刃口面、空刀面等随形曲面创建效率低的问题,提出了一种局部型面裁剪法,仅使用镶块所在位置处的局部型面去裁剪镶块实体,避免对整个型面进行数据搜索处理,解决了完整型面裁剪法耗时过长的问题,使单个镶块的设计效率提高约100%。同时,为了改善非符形类修边镶块随形曲面质量,提出了一种分段式扫略作面法,采用标记法识别曲线的曲率剧变区域,据此将曲线分为多段,进行对应扫略作面再缝合,可解决整体式扫略作面法产生的曲面局部扭曲问题。并通过实例进行效率和质量的对比分析,说明了两种方法的有效性。
In order to solve the problem of low efficiency on creating trimmed inserts shape-fitting surface of cutting surface and clearance surface, a partial-profile splitting method was presented to trim insert by the partial profile at the insert location, and the data searching process for the whole profile was omitted. Therefore, the time-consume problem of whole surface trimming method was solved, and the design efficiency of single insert was improved by 100%. At the same time, a segmented-sweeping method was put forward to improve the shape-fitting surface quality of non-shape-fitting trimming insert. Furthermore, the curvature upheaval area was recognized by the tag method, and the curves were divided into several segments to sew the corresponding sweeping surfaces. Thus, the local distortions of surface produced by the integral sweep method were solved, and the effectiveness of two methods was analyzed by examples to make compari- sons of their efficiency and quality.
