简单总结了国内外生态需水的研究进展，论述了生态保护目标的建立，在实地生态环境考察和分析的基础上，按照河道内生态需水计算方法遴选原则，综合选用多种方法计算了南水北调西线一期工程雅砻江热巴调水坝址处河道内生态需水量，分析确定了合理的生态流量范围．计算和分析结果表明，热巴坝址处的最小生态流量为36．3～46．8^3／s，对应的最小生态需水量为11．50～14．82亿m^3；所选方法针对明确的生态保护对象或目标设定参数，为调水规模论证提供有力的参考依据。
英文摘要：
The advance of study on ecological water requirements is simply reviewed; and the ecological protection objective is discussed. On the principle of analyzing ecological flow, several methods are chosen and used to calculate the ecological flow at the dam site Reba. The results show that the ecological flow is 36.3--46.8 m^3/s; the corresponding ecological water requirements is 11.50--14.82 × 108 m^3.
