电磁场作用下的镁电解槽流场分析

镁电解槽流场的分布和优化是镁电解槽大型化的关键问题。以计算流体力学(CFD)为手段,研究了在电磁场作用下的镁电解槽流场分布,得到了120 kA镁电解槽内部流场的分布。电解质主循环是由电解室到集镁室,它将在电解室生成的液态镁输送到集镁室进行收集;在后墙附近存在有副循环,其对后墙和阳极有冲刷作用,会造成后墙和阳极的损坏。分析了电解槽内各种电解质循环对液态镁的输送效果,认为在电解槽中线处平行于电极表面的电解质输运循环是最优循环;同时在后墙处,阴极顶部存在有垂直于电极表面的有害循环,并计算得到电解槽中最大的速度出现在电解室内的隔墙表面处,最大值为0.164 m/s。

英文摘要:

The distribution and optimization of flow field is one of the key points for the scale up of magnesium electrolyzer.The distribution of flow field in magnesium electrolyzer under electromagnetic field is studied by CFD stimulation,and the distribution under currents of 120 kA was obtained.There exist major electrolyte circulations between electrolysis compartment and collection compartment,which can transport liquid magnesium from electrolysis compartment to collection compartment.There are minor electrolyte circulations near the back wall,which have scouring effects on back wall and anodes and damage them.The most optimum transport circulation of electrolyte is found at the midline of the electrolyzer which parallels with the electrode surface through analyzing the electrolyte circulations′ effect to the transportation in the electrolyzer.Meanwhile,there exist harmful circulations on the top of cathodes which are perpendicular to the surface of electrodes,and the maximum speed appears at the partition wall surface in electrolysis compartment by calculation.
