Objective ： To establish a method for the quantification of nobiletin and tangeretin in Fructus Aurantii by HPLC. Methods：The Venusil XBP Clscolumn（4. 6 mm × 150 mm,5 μm）was adopted with the mobile phase of acetonitrile -water（45： 55）at 25 ℃;The flow rate was 1.0 mL ·min-1, and the detection wavelength was 326 nm. Results ：The method had good linear relationship within the range of 0. 16 -3.11 μg（ r = 0. 9999）for nobiletin and 0. 12 - 2. 34 μg （ r = 0. 9999 ） for tangeretin. The average recoveries （ n = 5 ） were 97.9% （ RSD = 1.1% ） for nobiletin and 99.7% （ RSD = 0. 44% ） for tangeretin. Conclusion ： This method is convenient, accurate and reliable for the quantification of nobiletin and tangeretin in Fructus Aurantii.
