Taking the regression models of Leaf Area Index（LAI） and Normalized Differential Vegetation Index（NDVI）, this paper calculated the total green volume and regional green volume of urban developing area of Wuhan city. The results indicated that the order of average LAI is South area Southwest area West area Southwest area North area downtown and the order of total amount of green volume is South area downtown West area Southwest area East area Southwest area North area. The average LAI of urban parks, protective green spaces, accessory green spaces and other green spaces in Wuhan are 1.926, 1.941, 1.276 and 2.408 respectively.
