The electronic absorption spectra and emission spectra of complex NiLL＇ （ L = mnt^2- , 1,2-dicyano-1,2- ethylenedithiolate or maleonitriledithiolate. L＇ = 5-nitri-phen, 5-nitri-1,10-phenanthroline）, and the photosensitivity of CdS doped with NiLL＇ were reported. The correlation between photosensitization of CdS with complex NiLL＇ and their electronic spectra was studied.
