采用三维激光扫描系统测量了臭蜣螂几何体表外形,获取了臭蜣螂几何体表外形的数据点云。利用逆向工程软件进行数据点云的平滑处理、精简处理及其多视数据的定位与拼接。使用点云数据网格化、曲面特征抽取与数据分片、曲面分割及直接拟合曲面片的造型方法,成功进行了臭蜣螂体表外形三维几何曲面模型的重构。
Quantitative analysis of geometrical configuration of dung beetles is important to the biomimetic design of the configuration of some mechanisms. The digital point clouds of geometrical surfaces of dung beetle Copris ochus Motschulsky were obtained through measuring with a 3D scanner. The point clouds (data) were processed by such functions as wiping off noise data, sampling, smoothing and putting together for the data using the software of reverse engineering. The reconstruction of 3D geometrical surfaces of dung beetle Copris ochus Motschulsky were realized through such processing procedures as gridding of the point data, extraction of surface feature, subarea of data, partition of surfaces and directly fitting surface partition. This work will provide a foundation for quantitative analysis of the characters of geometrical morphology and configuration of dung beetles Copris ochus Motschulsky and other beetles and their biomimetic engineering applications in terrain machines.
