利用蜣螂头部的激光三维扫描数据点云抽取蜣螂头部的表面轮廓线数据,用最小二乘法进行数据拟合。求取以高斯函数类表示的曲线拟合方程。通过计算得出拟合曲线的曲率和二阶导数并绘制了曲率图和二阶导数图。通过拟合曲线的曲率图和二阶导数图的变化,对蜣螂头部表面轮廓线进行了分析,认为蜣螂头部特定的几何外形对其挖十打洞具有重要的作用。
Cross-section point data of clypeus have been extracted from the 3D scan-data of dung beetle Copris ochus Motschulsky. The least squares fitting method was used to analyse the cross-section data for fitting mathematical model and fitted curves were expressed by Gaussian equations. According to fitted curves curvature and fitted curves second derivative value, the geometrical characteristics of the fitted curves was summed up. This work concluded that the geometrical characteristics of clypeus of Dung Beetle Copris ochus Motschulsky was very important for their digging ability.
