Hair follicle stem cells are ideal seed cells for tissue engineering of skin,their basal research are isolation and purification methods.This article describes several separation and purification methods that are commonly used,including explants culture and enzyme digestion,etc,it can makes a foundation to further study on the application and characteristics of hair follicle stem cells.Hair follicle stem cells can differentiate into hair follicles,sebaceous glands,epidermis,they play an important role in the tissues to maintain and update,as well as on treatment of some clinical diseases.
