Today,it has been well confirmed that muscle is a pool of adult stem cells which have multiplex differentiation potential.Researchers believe that there are at least two sorts of stem cell： muscle satellite cells and muscle-derived stem cells in skeletal muscle but muscle satellite cells take on the most.The article mainly discuss the isolation,culture,purification,identification of skeletal muscle satellite cell and the mechanism of its proliferation and differentiation.
