采用溶液剥离-吸附法制备了乙烯基聚合物/改性蒙脱土(VP/C-MMT)高分予纳米复合材料。X射线衍射检测结果表明,十六烷基三甲基溴化铵(CTAB)改性蒙脱土的层间距由1.2916nm增加到1.9620nm.与乙烯基聚合物(VP)复合后,蒙脱土的d(001)峰消失;透射电镜对蚋米复合材料成膜物的检测结果表明,蒙脱土在VP基体中以片层形式分散,说明VP/C—MMT为剥离型纳米复合材料。示差扫描量热检测结果表明,蒙脱土的存在可以较好地提高聚合物的热稳定性。通过建立CTAB与蒙脱土插层的理论模型,解释了VP与C—MMT未发生相分离的原因。
The vinyl polymer/montmorillonite nanocomposite (VP/C-MMT) was prepared by the way of solution exfoliation-adsorpted method. The results of X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) show that cetyl trimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) have been successfully exchanged with the ions between montmorillonite(MMT) galleries and enhanced the distance between the galleries of MMT from 1.2 nm to 1.9 nm, after been exfoliation-adsorpted by vinyl polymers, the distance can be enhance to infinite, the exfoliated structure is formed. The glass-transition temperature can be enhanced greatly and the melting peak is transferred to high temperature, the thermal endurance of VP/C-MMT is increased. TEM result of VP/C-MMT shows that MMT has been exfoliated by vinyl polymer matrix. The model which can exfoliated when compounded vinyl polymer and modified montmorillonite was established as well.
