Surfactants have played very important role in preparation, characterization and application of nano materials because of their special structure and excellent properties. The paper in troduced the application of surfactants in nano leather chemicals on the basis of our study on the nano-tanning agents and nano-coating agents. The further application prospect of surfactants in this field is forecasted.
