Based on 750 kW wind generator and wind characters of Xinjiang Dabancheng wind farm, mathematical models used in fault analysis are given. The short-circuit current and voltage of wind farm are simulated. Current behavior of typical wind speeds are studied. On the basis of different short-circuit position, we calculated the current of three-phase short-circuit. The interaction between varied-speed wind farm and the power system is studied. From the point of view of LVRT, protective relay of wind farm is discussed. We proposed that rome measures can be taken to improve the voltage quality of wind power.
