This paper contends for necessary improvements for the current calculation method of indoor noise in The Assessment Standards for Green Buildings,and offers an alternative based on delicate analysis and discussion.According to the basic principles of green building design,it is a normal situation when windows are open,and indoor noise should be assessed with external windows open and they could be reduced with technological methods in green building design.
