It is clear shown by fitting the infrared and Raman spectra of yingjiangite that the stretching and bending vibrations of water of crystallization occur at about 3300 and 1630 cm^-1, respectively, and those of water of constitution at the neighborhood of 3300 and 1400 cm^-1, respectively, that the stretching vibrations of PO4 and UO2 are located in the range of 800-1200 cm^-1, and their bending vibrations in the range of less 700 cm^-1. Due to narrow band width of PO4 and UO2 units, their Raman spectra shows excellent band separation, avoiding the difficulties in the infrared spectra of complex overlapping bands. Raman bands of PO4 and UO2 unit are mainly presented at around 1000 and 800 cm^-1, respectively. The evidences which there is water of constitution in yingjiangite were obtained from vibrational spectroscopic study, including: ①There are vibrational bands at about 1400 cm^-1 in Raman spectra of yingjiangite, which are the vibrational mode of water of constitution, indicating that structural water was presented in yingjiangite. This vibrational mode, however, does not induce any infrared absorption bands, showing that it is possibly infrared inactive; ② It was shown that yingjiangite contains water of crystallization and other kind water by comparing HOH stretching vibrational bands of yingjiangite with those of autunite.
