In order to achieve the training objectives of surveying and mapping engineering, to improve the abilities of students, the teaching reform of digital photogrammetry course was carried out, the programming teaching reform scheme is put forward based on the principle course and the MATLAB programming foundation. Combined with the specific teaching process, a series of attempts have been made in updating teaching content, strengthening teaching experiment and cultivating students＂ practical ability. The teaching quality was obviously improved.
