Faced with the configuration design of a large number of hub airport terminals,taking the conceptical design of expansion terminal（ phase-Ⅲ） in Lanzhou for example,from the terminal external and internal analysis of the terminal,the design logic was summarized and sorted out in the paper. Finally,the ＂ overall-analysis＂ mode of hub airport terminal configuration was proposed and its guiding significance was also defined.
