针对光纤陀螺噪声的特点,提出了一种采用增加偏置调制深度的办法提高光纤陀螺信噪比,虽然陀螺理论灵敏度有所降低,但是陀螺的长期漂移即零偏稳定性却获得了明显提高。这种方法我们称之为过调制技术。对基于数字闭环调制解调方案的过调制技术改善陀螺信噪比的理论基础进行了深入的分析,在此基础上进行了相关的实验研究。理论分析和实验结果均表明,当调制深度处于π/2与π之间的某个值时,光纤陀螺具有最佳性能。相比于传统的π/2偏置点,采用过调制技术后的光纤陀螺的零偏稳定性获得了数倍的提高。
Based on deep analysis of the noise characteristic, this paper gives a new technique to improve the SNR of the IFOG,by improving the depth of the offset modulation,in which the theoretical sensitivity decreased,while the bias stability of IFOG increased,this method was called over modulation technique. On the basis of digital closed-loop modulate-demodulate technique, the mechamism of the over modulation technique was and theoretically analyed relative experimental reseach work was done. Theoretical and experimental results have indicated that when the modulate depth is a certain appropriate value betwen π/2 and π, the optimal performance of IFOG has been achieved. Comparing with traditional π/2 offset modulate point,the bias stability of the/FOG has increased several times.
