The response of calcium bursting oscillation to internal noise is studied by solving mesoscopic chemical Langevin equations. The calculated signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) reaches a maximum at a certain internal noise (i. e. an optimal cell volume), resembling stochastic resonance, referred to as explicit bursting stochastic resonance in the present work. The correlation time is used to measure the coherence of bursting oscillations. It is demonstrated that the correlation time of the oscillation also exhibits a maximum at a certain cell volume.
