Construction for the filter banks of three-dimensional multi-scale tight wavelet frames was studied.Firstly,according to the frame multiresolution analysis and the inequality of the filter function associated with the scaling function,the sufficient condition for the existence of three-dimensional multi-scale tight wavelet frames was provided by using time-frequency analysis method. Secondly,the constructive method for the filter banks for three-dimensional tight wavelet frames were formulated.
