Motion control system based on a scale-model ship was designed to test the effectiveness of ship-motion-control algorithm.In that system,the slave computer was mounted on the scale-model ship to operate the executing agency by two microcontrollers.And the host computer placed on shore was applied to run the control algorithm,and remotely control the slave computer via a pair of radio-frequency transmitters.Twice test results show that the system can be applied in testing the ship-motion control algorithms.
