Influenza is a harmful infectious disease. However, influenza virus vectors derived from influenza virus are hopeful to be used in the prevention and treatment for different diseases. There are several reports on influenza virus vectors constructed by reverse genetic system. In this review, the progress on the application of influenza virus vectors is discussed.
