We describe the concept of spatial inconsistency between the crossed profiles, and make a systematic classification of the spatial inconsistency. A detection method of spatial inconsistency is proposed based on the crossing lines, and corresponding algorithm is designed for further implementation and evaluation. A practical example demonstrates the feasibility and validity of the methods proposed in this paper.
