Based on the classical symmetry method, the group invariant solutions of a hyperbolic-type affine invariant curve flow are investigated. The symmetry group is studied and its one-dimensional optimal system is determined. A corresponding optimal system is found and some group invariant solutions associated with the reduced equation are also obtained.
