The single crystals of Ta1-xFexTe2 (x=0.15, 0.17, 0.20) were synthesized by chemical vapour transporttechnique. The microstructure and electromagnetic performance of Ta1-xFexTe2 were investigated by X-ray diffraction and electrochemical tests. The result indicated that Ta was doped by Fe. The electromagnetic performanceindicated that the electron carrier increased by Fe doping and the conductivity was then enhanced. Moreover,the magnetic correlation was enhanced by the doping of Fe increased, and the metamagnetic transition to a ferromagnetic state occurred as the doping of Fe increased
