Application progress in acoustic technology to nondestructive test for watermelon quality in recent years at home and abroad were reviewed. The introduction focused on the principle, research progress and advantages and disadvantages of acoustic vibration, acoustic characteristics and multi-sensor fusion techniques. Existing problems in nondestructive detection technology in watermelons were put out, and the future development trend of nondestructive detection technology in watermel- ons was prospected.
