TCExam is an excellent open-source online examination system, which requires high stability server support. For the educational institutions lack of funds, the cost is a big problem. To solve this problem, this paper presents a solution to this prob-lem from a software method, expounds the process of building a high stable web server with Apache, PHP and MySQL based on CentOS system. TCExam online examination system was installed on it. Two exams have been successfully carried out on this system in the last two years.
