This paper analyzes status of energy consumption and economic growth from total energy use,economic consumption structure and quantity, structure of economic growth of Henan Province. Regression analysis is used for energy consumption and economic growth based on the data from 1990 to 2012.At last, suggestions from industrial structure,low carbon economy and energy- saving awareness are raised to promote energy conservation and emission reduction of Henan Province
