基于CSMC0.5μm标准CMOS工艺,设计了一款乱序PWM控制的LED恒流驱动芯片.芯片电路使用乱序PWM技术提高LED的刷新速率,采用PWM合成技术提高LED的色彩灰度等级,利用恒流驱动技术降低LED的光衰.在电源电压为3V~5.5V、温度--40~85℃条件下,基于Cadence平台中的Spectre进行仿真验证.仿真结果表明:LED的刷新速率跟随输入的影像数据大幅度提高;PWM合成模式实现14位LED显示灰度,点校正模式可以完成6位的色度修正;输出电流误差为±5%.
Based on the CSMC 0. 5μm standard CMOS technology, designed a constant LED driver with disordered PWM control. The chip use disordered PWM technology to improve the LED refresh rate, use PWM synthesis technology to improve the LED grayscale, use constant current driving technology to reduce the LED light- declining. At 3V-5. 5V supply voltage, --40℃~85℃, the circuit was simulated on Cadence spectre, the results show that following the input image data, LED refresh rate improved greatly; PWM synthesis model achieved 14 bits grayscale; dot correction mode achieved 6--bit chrominance correction; output current error accuracy is ± 5%.
