To provide good mobility of the presentation software manipulation, the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi wireless links were employed respectively to develop the image/text transmission system controlling PowerPoint running on the Windows platform by an Android tablet. The notation text and compressed gif image data of the presentation slides were transmitted from the PC to the tablet where the same notation and graphic interface were displayed. By the reverse direction of transmission, the plot and label information was also sent to the PC and redrawn on the PPT slide in real time by precisely coordinate mapping. By transmission of controlling commands and data, many operations can be remotely performed on the tablet such as drawing lines, writing, erasing, local zooming, scrolling, and white screen, with the features of electronic whiteboard.
