改革开放以来的中国地区经济发展差距总体上呈现出“下降一上升一下降”的波动轨迹，目前仍处在一个较高水平。基于协整等计量方法的实证分析表明，不同省份间经济发展差异与城市化水平和贸易发展密切相关，无论长期短期，地区间城市化水平和贸易开放程度的差异，均与地区经济差距存在正向关联，是地区经济差距变动的重要原因。本文研究揭示，“统筹区域发展”、“统筹城乡发展”、“统筹国内发展和对外开放”之间并不是孤立分割的，正确认识三者关系，对于实现和谐发展具有重要现实意义。

英文摘要：

This paper analyzes the trend of regional income disparity among provinces since the reform and opening of our country. By employing time series measurement technology, we find that urbanization and trade openness have effect on regional economic disparity, and regional difference in dualistic structure and regional difference in trade openness have a positive correlation with regional economic disparity. This study reveals that ＂Balancing Urban and Rural Development＂, ＂Coordinating China＇s domestic development with opening up＂ and ＂regional development as a whole＂ are interrelated. We must coordinate relations between them in Practice.
