Based on the underlying theories of chattel ownership registration system, an analysis is made on the sta- tus quo and existing problems for uniform ownership registration system in China. By drawing on international expe- riences in the construction model of chattel ownership registration system, the paper focuses on the exploration and reflections on the construction model of chattel ownership registration system in China and presents some reconstruc- ting proposals.
