烧结温度对煤沥青中间相基炭材料的微观结构和摩擦性能的影响

以中间相炭微球(MCMB)为原料,酚醛树脂为粘结剂,通过特定冷压烧结工艺对其进行烧结,制得各向同性炭块.研究了在不同烧结温度制品的收缩率和耐磨性,采用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)观测了断面微观结构及磨痕.研究结果表明,在热处理过程中,炭材料的炭化失重,体积收缩主要发生在低温处理阶段;经过900-1300℃热处理后的制品具有极为密实的微观结构;1300℃热处理后MCMB模压制品材料的密度为1.62g/cm^2,摩擦系数为0.202,炭材料的微观结构更加致密,且提高了材料的耐磨性.

Isotropic bulk carbon was prepared through cold-press sintering process with mesocarbon microbeads(MCMB) as raw materials and phenol aldehyde resin as the binder. The effects of sintering temperature on the shrinkage and the wearability were investigated. The crosssection microstructure and the scratch were observed by SEM. It is indicated that the weight loss and the volume shrinkage of bulk MCMB occur in the low temperature region. The dense microstructure was obtained after heat treatment at 900-1 300 ℃. The density and the friction coefficient of samples as prepared reach 1.62 g/cm^3 and 0. 202 respectively. The wearability of carbon materials was improved due to the compact microstructure.
