Fuel ethanol was currently the world＇s largest production and use of biomass energy. As one of renewable resources, lignocellulose can be converted into fuel ethanol, and pretreatment process was the key step and the limiting factor in the process of transformation pretreatment. The pretreatment technologies which widely used today, the widely researched technology of organic solvent pretreatment and its existing problems were expounded.
