Objoctivo To estimate the equivalence of the sentence materials for mandarin speech test materials（MSTM） in order to get some equivalent sentence lists. Mothods： 61 college students （61 ears） with normal hearing were tested. Every subject needed to listen to all of the 30 lists one by one, and to repeate what was heard. The sentences were scored by the number of key words repeated correctly. Results Through tests and statistic analysis, 2 sets of 29 lists （290 sentences） were determined to be equivalent with each other. Conclusion The 29 equivalent sentence lists can be used in further research and clinical speech evaluation.
