提出一种基于人眼视觉特性的红外图像增强算法。该算法采用符合人眼感知特性的LIP(Logarithmic Image Processing)模型,并根据人眼视觉在图像变化区域比平滑区域敏感,使用幂次变换方法对图像的高频和低频成分分别进行增强处理。实验结果表明:所提算法相比传统算法能够有效增强图像细节信息,提高图像对比度,明显改善红外图像的视觉效果。
Traditional infrared image enhancement methods usually only transform the image data but without considering the human visual properties,which result in fuzzy effect of the enhanced images.Thus in this paper,proposed is an infrared image enhancement algorithm based on human visual properties.The method takes the more suitable LIP model,and enhances the high frequency and the low frequency of the images using power transformation based on the property that human visual system(HVS)is more sensitive to the smooth areas than the detail areas.Experimental results indicate the proposed algorithm can effectively increase the contrast,enhance the details and improve the visual effect of infrared images.
