Campus network management system has a strategic significance on increasing to the maximum the network and equipment utilization, improving network performance, quality of service and security. Real-time, good expandability and strong autonomy are the characteristics of multi- Agent,and these characteristics meet the needs of campus network management system. This paper introduces a three-tier structure of campus network management system based on Agent technology is designed. The operational mode of the system and the structure of each subsystem Agent are illuminated.
