SRM980是由美国标准物质与技术研究所研制的Mg同位素标准参考物质。运用MC-ICPMS Mg高精度测试方法.对该参考物质中的Mg同位素成分是否均一性进行了研究。在所测定的5片SRM980镁金属碎片的同位素成分存在明显的不均一性,其最大差异为:δ^25Mg为1.08,δ^26Mg为2.12,是该实验室Mg同位素测定外部精度的一个数量级以上。
The Mg isotope composition of standard reference material SRM980 prepared by NIST has been investigated in some detail. It has been found that the Mg isotope composition in the material is largely heterogeneous. Among the 5 Mg metal chips analysed, variation in Mg isotope composition is up to 0. 00032164 in ^25Mg/^24Mg, and 0. 00070216 in ^26Mg/^24Mg ratios. Thus this material is improper to be used as a standard reference for high-precision Mg isotope ratio measurement.
