This paper discusses the production issues in the main lotus production areas,including plant diseases and insect pests during planting process,fertilizing,weeds,prospects and trends,and so on.And factors such as fertilization,weeds and pests control that play a pivotal role in the lotus production process are described in detail. The prospects and trends in lotus root planting are discussed briefly.
