This article analyzed the economic reasons of agricultural non-point source pollution according to theo- ries of environmental economics. The results showed that： the reasons caused non-point pollution were the short- sighted behavior of peasants only seeking economic returns in the micro level, and the failure of agricultural envi- ronmental resources allocation and governmental control of agricultural pollution in the macro level . It suggested that the keys to salve the agricultural environmental pollution were to improve peasants＂ income safeguard market system and government environment management, by which the market price can fully represent the the environment and resources. system, value of
