The branch weaving of Uyghur nationality is an important part of intangible cultural heritage in Turpan district.This paper analyzes the raw materials and tools,the inheritance,the production procedure,the type,the characteristics,the situation and existing problems of the branch weaving of Uyghur nationality in Turpan district.At last,the article put forward that people establish the museums,strengthen the census dynamics,respect the inheritance rights,deepen the theoretical study,enlarge the fund investment and moderate reasonable commercial development to protect and inherit the branch weaving of Uyghur nationality in Turpan.
