[目的／意义]智库在国家、国家间的战略交往过程中扮演着越来越重要的角色，而智库评价是智库有效产出的切实保障，更是智库健康发展的重要环节。[方法／过程]选取美国、英国、日本等典型国家，分别从主导模式、评价主客体、评价方法等多个方面，进行深入调研和比较研究。[结果／结论]发现在各个典型国家中，智库评价虽存在一定的弊端，但已基本形成特色鲜明、较为完整的评价体系，而我国与之相比还存在智库评价方法单一、评价指标不完善等问题，并提出规范智库的标准化定义、构建多元化评价机制、提高评价过程透明度、丰富智库评价参与主体等建议。

英文摘要：

[ Purpose/Significance ] Think tanks are playing an increasingly important role in the national development process and the strategic communication between countries. Think tank evaluation is not only a tangible guarantee for the effective output of think tanks, but also an important link in their healthy development. [ Method/Proeess] The paper studied intensively the think tank evaluation in the Unit- ed States, Britain and Japan, make studies from the aspects of the dominant mode, evaluation subjects and objects, evaluation methods and so on. [ Result/Condusion] It is found that though there are some disadvantages in the evaluation of think tanks in those typical countries, still there has developed a relatively complete evaluation system with distinctive features. Compared with them, China still needs to solve the think tank evaluation problems such as simplified methods, imperfect evaluation index, etc., suggestions on further healthy development of the think tank evaluation in China are also given, which include： normalizing the definition of ＂think tank＂, constructing the diversified evaluation mechanism, improving the transparency in evaluation process and enriching participators of think tank evaluation.
