江淮流域暴雨研究与预报是大家所共同关注的课题。对近年江淮梅雨尤其是2010年汛期致洪暴雨（以江西为例）特征进行了探讨。强调暴雨预报仍是一项很具挑战性的任务,并提出了一些需要继续突破的科学和技术问题。

英文摘要：

Research and forecast on heavy rainfall over Changjiang-Huaihe river basin are the common topics concerned by both government and people.In this paper,the characteristics of Meiyu in Changjiang-Huaihe river basin,especially the flood-causing rainstorms during flood season of 2010 were discussed.It is emphasized that forecast of heavy rainfall is still a difficult job.In addition,some key problems which should be solved in future are proposed.
