The resource valuators in networks are divided into two types： individual valuator and group valuator. Based on the trust evaluations from different valuators, a resource selection mechanism for P2P networks is proposed. Computation method of single-faceted trust evaluation for resources from individual valuator and group valuator is presented. Universal trust can be calculated comprehensively based on single-faceted trusts. The creditable valuator boundary computation is proposed for resource requestor in order to realize trans- mitting resource queries between creditable peers. The resource selection mechanism is presented for finding out the most trustable resource from candidate resources in P2P networks.
