In Merriam＇s anthropology of music research we can see the studies of ＂music research in culture＂ and of ＂voice–concept–behavior＂.When Merriam was figuring out the relative concepts of culture and music,he confirmed the possibility of realizing the music cultural research.Through the explorations of music concept and music behavior,he combined music with human society,thinking and way of act,etc.and finally promoted the integration of music and culture in the frame of fine music anthropology study.
